Native Plants Planted

We’ve added over 900 native plants for our happy customers. These plants support pollinators, restore local ecosystems, and reduce water use over time.

Battery-Powered Maintenance Visits

Every visit since March 2025 has been done with battery mowers, trimmers and blowers. Our blowers run under 60 decibels at 50 feet, about a third as loud as gas to your ear, so you can take a call while we work.

+ lbs

of CO₂ Kept Out of the Air

Across 614 maintenance visits since March 2025, running battery equipment instead of gas has kept about 7,400 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the air and roughly 380 gallons of gas from being burned. At the EPA figure of about 0.88 pounds per mile for a passenger car, that is close to 8,400 miles of driving.

Patios, retaining walls and drainage that last. Built by Dunwoody's all-electric crew.

Oak Avenue builds and looks after landscapes across Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville, Peachtree Corners and the Perimeter. Paver patios, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor lighting, French drains and grading, plus year-round maintenance for homes and commercial properties.

Every bit of it runs on battery equipment charged by the solar panels on our trailer, so there is no gas engine sitting in your driveway for two weeks and no 7 a.m. wake-up call for your neighbors. It is quieter, it is cleaner, and the work still has to last twenty years.

Want to read up before you call? Our landscaping guides cover lawn care, drainage, retaining walls, patios and planting for north Atlanta yards, and every city we work in, from Buckhead to Roswell and Norcross, has its own page on our service areas list.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I discovered Oak Avenue through the Sustainability Hero program in the City of Dunwoody and reached out to the owner, Lloyd Fisher. He came to assess the property, and I shared my vision for the work I wanted done.

As a true Sustainability Hero, Lloyd uses impressive electric-powered tools for tree trimming, mulching, and leaf processing. The equipment is incredibly quiet—I was still in bed when he started around 8:30 AM, and I didn’t hear any disruptive noise. It wasn’t until he called me to check the progress that I even realized work had begun!

Lloyd and his team were highly professional, efficient, and responsive. He took the time to explain the process and share insights, which I truly appreciated. Dunwoody is fortunate to have a local landscaping company like Oak Avenue, and I look forward to continuing to support and work with them in the long term.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hired Oak Avenue Landscaping for landscape design, plant installation, and artificial turf installation for our home in Atlanta. Lloyd and his team were professional, friendly, and skilled! I whole-heartedly recommend this company. Our yard is beautiful and functional thanks to their great work! (And it makes me so happy to know they are focused on sustainability through electric and solar power!)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are thrilled with the job Lloyd and Oak Avenue did for us. He was very responsive and prompt, and helped us tackle some issues outside the original scope of the job. Our back yard now feels like a completely different place, much more inviting. I would highly recommend him!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lloyd and his crew just finished up a great job cleaning and landscaping our backyard! We had a massive cleanup job, and really patching mondo grass that we wanted filled in. He created several flower beds with low maintenance shade plants per my request and completely transformed our back area (that was pretty unusable).

I would say prices were very competitive and fair, Lloyd was great at communication and very transparent and trustworthy. I’m so glad we found his company and hired them. We are so happy with how everything turned out and can’t wait for everything to grow!
